NorthPoint Christian Ministries - is a non-profit 501c(3) ministry established for the purpose of counseling God's people through his Word and training up biblical counselors to do the same.

Counseling: NorthPoint Christian Counseling Associates

In the area of counseling, NorthPoint serves the residents of Central and Southwest Georgia through our counseling ministry "NorthPoint Christian Counseling Associates". Our counselors are required to be licensed by the National Christian Counselors Association and be members in good standing with National Board of Christian Clinical Therapists. (NBCCT) Our commitment to God's Word, educational excellence and the high standards established by the NCCA / NBCCT has created a very active counseling ministry. We do not advertise our counseling services, yet we maintain a very rigorous counseling schedule due to referrals from current and former counselees, numerous local churches, secular counselors, attorneys, doctors, state agencies and occasionally even the court system.

Education: NorthPoint Christian Counseling Academy

Our mission for Christian counseling education is to help mature Christians, who feel God's call to the counseling ministry, become well trained and properly credentialed. This is accomplished through our teaching ministry "NorthPoint Christian Counseling Academy". To accomplish the daunting task of providing a quality biblically based education and to facilitate the acquisition of valid ministerial credentials we have affiliated ourselves with the National Christian Counselor's Association (NCCA) as a Certified Academic Institution. Established in 1981, NCCA has licensed more than 1,700 clinical Christian pastoral counselors in the United States, and more than 4,000 worldwide. The NCCA is also accredited by National Private Schools Association Group (NPSAG), and is a member of the Better Business Bureau of West Florida. This association of NorthPoint and the NCCA created a powerful and effective education and training organization for Christian counselors and includes ministers, professional Christian counselors, church leadership, testing specialists, doctors, attorneys and educators. This enables us to provide a complete program of education, training and supervision that mentors the student through the entire education, certification and licensing process of the NCCA.
